25 February Thank Goodness It's FridaySo it's cliched... but that's how I feel. I'm looking forward to leaving work a little early (ie on time) and actually preparing a meal. I got a new cookbook and want to try one of the recipes. But I've been getting home too late to cook something that could take an hour to prepare. When you've never made something it always takes a little longer to go through the recipe. We'll see how it goes. Most recipes I modify in some way (omitting or substituting ingredients I don't care for something similar that I do like). The only modification I'm making in this recipe (Orchiette w/Sausage and Broccoli Rabe) is cutting it in half. I was going to use a different vegetable, but I decided to be adventurous and use the Broccoli Rabe. So that's the plan. Hope you all have a good week-end. TrackbacksWeblogs that reference this entry
